Slideshow: CRA Constructs “The Wall”
Franklin & Marshall’s Catastrophic Relief Alliance continued to build its relationship with the Lancaster community and South Ann Concerned Neighbors this month by performing its first independent construction job. The CRA built a wall to create two rooms for a local family, allowing grandsons to move in with new guardian grandparents. Members of the CRA say the local construction job was a valuable learning experience—all while helping to facilitate the nurturing of a family.
Over winter break, the CRA will travel to Alabama to help residents recover from damage caused by the April 27 tornado outbreak, the nation’s most severe outbreak in nearly four decades.
